About me

Hi there, Anton Ustyuzhanin here.

I am an infrastructure engineer, an electronics enthusiast, and a lifelong learner.

I get curious about things, try to understand how they work, experiment until something makes sense, and share what I discover along the way.

I have worked in telecom, education, food service, banking, and business acceleration. Whatever the product or service, my interest has always been in its IT infrastructure, networking, security, and developer experience.

Work

  1. 2026 – present

    Miro

    Staff Platform Engineer

Working on the tooling behind our deployments. So far: an AI-agent build system for our internal Argo CD images, which takes an upstream release, adds our performance patches, and keeps a record of how each image was made. And the GitHub app that gives tokens to CI/CD pipelines: new features so a pipeline can reach other repositories with a clear audit trail, better stability and observability, and support for teams to adopt it.

  2. 2023 – 2026 · Berlin, Germany

    N26

    Lead Site Reliability Engineer

The cloud bill for CI/CD went down by more than 70%. Together with other teams, we agreed on standard deployment paths for backend services, data pipelines, frontends, and static assets, and more than 200 microservices deployed this way. And when the bank moved to a multi-account AWS setup, the continuous delivery platform got a new design, so teams could still deploy on their own.

  3. 2017 – 2023 · Germany

    HelloFresh

Senior DevOps Engineer, then Staff Engineer

Six good years. The first ones were about the shared CI/CD platform on Concourse CI and a move from self-managed Kubernetes to Amazon EKS without downtime. Later came company-wide Vault Enterprise, one Ambassador Edge Stack gateway for ingress, and AWS Transit Gateway in place of hundreds of VPC peering connections. Along the way, a lot of time with engineers from more than 40 product teams, and many Senior and Staff interviews.

  4. 2003 – 2017 · Kazakhstan

    Various organizations

    Software, system, and network engineer

Where it all started: enterprise networks, Linux and UNIX servers, and private clouds on VMware, Proxmox, and OpenStack. Also internal Java applications with their delivery automation, and SDN and NFV projects for service providers.
